I am a Software Engineer for a leading online media company living and working in California. A large role of the team I work on is to develop community-based applications across the wide range of web properties operated by my employer. In order to create applications that users like to use and want to use, it is important to embrace emerging web technologies and use them to provide rich user-interfaces on the front-end. For this reason, I have been spending more and more time researching these new technologies and hope to use this blog to share any interesting information, tutorials and demos I may come across or create myself.
