I had this problem too. Add a handle to the sortable. It’s an option. See http://docs.mootools.net/Plugins/Sortables.js.

Hi Guys,

Does any one have a tutorial available on mootools sortable list that can read from and update a mysql db based on a sort_order column in the table

Thx for the great Script - but i’ve a problem with links placed in a list element..
I want to create a link to delete a entry in a list - but the event of sorting is cannot be stopped - obviously i use a stopEvent Function..

I already posted that problem in the mootools Forum - maybe you can help me solving this term..
